Ludwig Schokolade emphasised the importance of sustainability in its business activities with the establishment of the SUSCOM company group. SUSCOM works specifically through a subsidiary at a local level with farmers and cocoa cooperatives in the Ivory Coast. It purchases certified raw cocoa from sustainably managed farms and exports it to Germany.
